About FlyAway Bird Rescue

We are a nonprofit faciltiy that operates solely on donations from the public and private businesses.

FlyAway Bird Rescue is a rehabilitation sanctuary for wild birds. We rescue every type of bird from Hummingbirds to Eagles. We are not a zoo and do not keep birds permanently. Our goal is to rescue birds whether they are ill, injured, or orphaned, and ultimately to release them back into the wild. Then with our facilities veterinarian, Dr. Patricia Handal, she and Suzette determine if a bird needs medical attention or just some TLC until it is able to fend on its own.

FlyAway's Fabulous Flock of Friends

Running a rescue center alone is like trying to operate a hospital by oneself. It is almost impossible. Luckily for Suzette, she has some great volunteers and good friends who are just as much a bird brain as she is.

Our approach

We approach each project individually, starting with a detailed analysis of the client’s requirements and desires, developing concepts and projects, and ending with implementation and support throughout the entire process. Our goal is to exceed our client's expectations by creating spaces that bring joy and inspiration.
